What happened to the book reviews??

Dear bookaholics,

If you were wondering why this bookaholic is no longer putting up her usual book reviews and interesting bookish finds, and only updates her blog with events, well, it's because I'm very tied up with something else right now.

However, it'll end very soon...and my book reviews will be up again in July :) I'm looking forward to it as I REALLY REALLY MISS READING!!!!

If you have found any good reads recently, please feel free to post your recommendations here or drop me an email :)

Till then, keep reading!!

I'm reading "At Home in Japan(a foreign woman's journey of discovery) by Rebecca Otowa from Tuttle Publishing. I haven't finished it yet but been so much impressed with her new life after her marriage to a Japanese man from a very traditional and countryside family. I'm very much interested in her way of describing our culture in English, as well. I'm sure I'll blog about this when I finish reading it.

I'm reading Belong to me by Maria de Los Santos. It's written in three POVs, Cornelia, a metropolitan woman who moved to a suburb with his husband; piper, her annoying neighbor who has a dying-from-cancer-friend; and Dev, who is a 13 year old genius, and daughter of Lake, a girl who happens to have a past with Cornelia's husband.

I really like reading Dev(or Deveroux Tremain)'s POV, coz he talks about a lot of things that sparks curiosity, like the pinnicle of evolution- theory by Charles Darwin, the string theory, literature, and all the chaters with his POV starts with a famous quote like "How on earth are you ever going to explain in terms of chemistry and physics so important a biological phenomenon as first love? -Albert Einstein-" -or maybe just the fact his age is near to mine, but really, this is a good read. I haven't finished it yet, but try this, or Love walked in, by the same author.
